The Eighth Doctor meets his three predecessors in his final moments.

-EXPLANATION-
The Eighth Doctor and his companion Charlotte "Charley" Pollard are locked in the TARDIS, with the Doctor infected by a strange matter called Anti-Time, thus transforming his persona into that of the Gallifreyan "boogeyman" Zagreus. Throughout the adventure, he learns more and more about a race of creatures called the Divurgence, whom Rasillon had imprisoned. Ad the Doctor and Charlotte progress further into the adventure, Charlotte meets three men ...

I love the idea that all of The Doctor's past incarnations just hang out in the back of his own mind arguing with each other
Better them being a peanut gallery in his head than them being actively able to take control of the Doctor’s newest body like the Ten/the Eleven/the Twelve/etc was stuck with… Big Finish really should have called that time lord something like: Legion, the Collective, the System, etc instead of just using whatever number incarnation they’re on with a The in front of it…
@@heymikey4025 In Once and Future it regenerated into it's final incarnation, which calls itself the Union, so we have a name for it finally

If that were the case, the Mary Shelley Ep wouldn't have been made. He was never in sync with fandom after his first 15 mins of fame with Open Air so the books, comics, and audios mean nothing to him

Loving the fact that we're sitting here now in 2022 having seen these 4 do something similar in The Power of The Doctor, seems appropriate to revisit Zagreus somehow 😊
I suspect that's where Chibnall cribbed the idea from if he listens to BF. Of course, this scene did it better. MUCH better.
Still this audio sucks.

Ok looked it up, it seems it's reused recordings of some sort or maybe previously unseen recordings. There's no other way he could we included. I saw he was credited, which means some recording was re-used.
Update to that, it's lines from a fan-production called Devious!
But if you count the novel and audio The Nightmare Fair the Sixth Doctor did get to Blackpool. Presumably the Doctor meant he didn't get to Blackpool exactly after Revelation of the Daleks.

The 6th doctor is soooo much better with some good writing, love Davison and McCoy with McGann.
You know when the Tenth Doctor learnt about Trenzalore early? That's sort of how I feel listening to this... I haven't yet listened to this, it's on my to-do list... but I got nosy and wanted to hear them interacting :P Hopefully I'll forget this scene haha
I think this is fantastic. Man I think Paul, Sylvester, Colin, Peter. All of the did a brilliant job, I loved the five doctor's reboot. My goodness hilarious. Shame they did not get a part into the 50th.

Why I love Big Finish! You can get so many good multi doctor stories and not have to worry about what the doctor looks like, just genius!

Nothing wrong with the 8th doctor but he only had the TV movie and no tv series if he had a tv series he would had a good run as the doctor
The amount of Audio Dramas he made more than made up for his lack of on screen time. However, I agree that the 8th doctor may have been my favourite TV doctor.
Dean Punk if you look back at the plans for what could have been the 8th Doctor TV series....Mccgann actually got a much better deal doing the audio dramas. His TV show's stories would've been the equivalent of an american reboot of key episodes from the classic series, just thought u should know, try and lookup the concept scripts :)
I'd quite like his next regeneration to be similar to this, meeting his previous incarnations and all that.

Well we did get something similar of sorts on The Power of The Doctor
Supposedly in the Day of the Doctor novel/audiobook the time crash had all the Doctor’s iterations having tea in the Under Gallery after they saved Gallifrey…
I always wandered what listening in on the Doctors fever dream would be like.

They'd have to get another licence from the beeb to do animations, because their current licence only covers the classic series on audio only.
